How We Spend Every Second Saturday

One of the things we do as part of the Pro Life Ministry at church is go to the abortion mill and pray a Rosary out in front. Last month Ken and I weren’t able to take the kids so we asked our friends if they would take the big ones for us. While they were praying, a photographer, tipped off by another friend of ours, for our diocesan newspaper came along and took some pictures. One of them ended up actually being in the paper. It was pretty cool to open the paper and see this picture of Allie in there praying for all those babies.

This past Saturday was our regular time to go and pray, and it was also my first time acting as a sidewalk counselor. I was very nervous. There was a woman there who does sidewalk counseling regularly (and also happens to be the woman that put on the workshop that Melinda and I attended back in November), and she was a great help to me. Caity as usual was right there in the thick of things, and in Michelle’s words, is NOT shy! Brian was walking up and down the clinic side of the street with Dave praying a Rosary. I'm so proud if my pro life kids.

Ave Maria!

You have every reason to be proud! Its a terrible thing and I do hope that all your prayers and presence changed the minds of those entering. You have great kids!
