Contractions

Early this morning at around 3 a.m. I started getting contractions. They don't hurt, they feel more like pressure, and they are running anywhere from 6 to 12 minutes apart.

We called the mid-wife who suggested that for right now I get some rest, which I heartily agree with, and afterwards she will come and check me out. The frustrating thing is that this could easily be either false labor or early labor--only time will tell.

Alice was supposed to leave to go back to NY this morning but she's trying to wait it out to see what's going to happen. I know she's frustrated too--she starts nursing school on Monday and needs to get ready for it.
