Well, John has taken his first steps and he's not even 9 mos. old yet! I have never had such an early walker. I don't know if I'm quite ready for this. He still seems so tiny to be walking around. I guess now I have to go buy him some shoes--darn it, I was hoping to wait a few more months. Yes, I'm that cheap.
Not long ago Fr. Z. taught John how to raise up his right hand and preach. Now out of nowhere John will lift up his arm and wave it around and we'll all say to him, "Preach it, brother!" then he'll laugh at us. :-) John usually does pretty much everything Fr. tells him to do!! I'll have to make sure Fr. is available when John is a teenager.
